Obsah:

A young boy is in a salvage yard with his grandfather for his 8th birthday. "Why is everything rusted grandpa?" the boy asks. "That's what happens when junk gets old," the man replies. "Well, your not rusted," the boy replies. "Well I'm not junk and I'm not old," his grandfather says. "You look old," the boy answers. "If you want to live to see eight, I'd just shut up and pick something out if I were you," his grandfather replies. The man tells his grandson he can 'break' anything he wants for his birthday and to look around and let him know if something catches his eye. The young boy sees a car already in the compacter ready to go. "Oh boy grandpa," he says with a huge smile on his face. The grandfather figured he'd choose that one so he already has it 'locked and loaded' for compacting. He hands the boy a pair of safety glasses, then the control panel for the compacter. He tells his grandson the most important thing is he is not to tell his mother what he's doing. "What are you waiting for, so hit it," the grandfather tells him. The boy presses the button to begin crushing the car while his grandfather takes photos of him. "Does it hurt?" the boy asks. "No," his grandfather replies. "Are you sure?" the boy asks. "Yeah, it's a car it doesn't feel anything," the man responds. "Then why is it bleeding?" the boy asks. The man looks at the car and sees blood seeping out from the trunk, rushes to the boy and turns off the compacter.

The elevator at NCIS opens into the squadroom, Ziva is holding up a book on the "Bill of Rights" and reciting information for her upcoming citizenship test. "Yeah well you get a life to you little pipsqueak," Tony shouts angrily at his computer. "Speech. Clearly they did not have Tony in mind when writing that," Ziva says when she arrives at her desk. Tony gets frustrated when he's 'nexted' by another person in his online chat. "What's he doing?" Ziva asks. "Annoying me," McGee replies. "Besides that," she says. McGee explains that Tony is doing a random chat, it's a video website that connects you to random strangers. "Come on," Tony shouts as he's 'nexted' again. McGee explains that if the person doesn't like you, they hit next and move on. "Let me guess, Tony keeps getting nexted? Ha, this I must see," Ziva says while McGee grins. Tony explains the longest he has gone is 10 seconds. Approaching his desk, Ziva says, "Well perhaps your not as interesting as you think you are." "This coming from the woman who reads the Bill of Rights for entertainment," Tony says. Then he tells her to back off and go away as she leans in to review his computer screen. A set of young girls pops on Tony's chat screen and he greets them. "Ew, your old, what are you like 40?" one of the girls says, then Tony gets 'nexted' again. "Why would you want to talk to complete strangers anyway?" Ziva asks. Tony feels like he needs to 'up' his game and do something like finger puppets, or a furry barnyard animal. He snaps his fingers, yells "I got it" then runs over to his filing cabinet and takes out a pair of silly joke glasses (black rimmed ones with bushy eyebrows and a fake nose). After putting them on he turns around and faces Gibbs. "Hi Gibbs. This isn't what it looks like," Tony tells an amused Gibbs. "Yeah," Gibbs says. "Just out of curiosity, how does this look?" Tony asks. After a moment's hesitation Gibbs replies, "Looks like we got a dead Marine, grab your gear, and a little self-respect, DiNozzo." Grinning from ear to ear, Ziva scoots to her desk to get her gear.

At the crime scene, Tony is taking photos of the body. He asks McGee if he brought his laptop.. "Yeah I did, why?" McGee asks. "I bet I'd last longer than 10 seconds in random chat with this guy as a backdrop," Tony says. The two men bicker because McGee wants Tony to stop and Tony won't.

Gibbs and Ziva interview the owner of the salvage yard. The man says he stripped the car himself the day before and the trunk was empty. Ziva asks about security cameras and the man's grandson tells them they have tons of them, but they aren't hooked up to anything. "Yeah, there just for show," the man tells them. Gibbs walks over to the boy, leans down, takes off his NCIS cap and puts it on the boy's head. "What's that for?" the boy asks. "For being brave and I also heard it's your birthday," Gibbs replies. "Yes," the boy answers.

By the car, Ducky inquires as to who the victim is. The victim's name is Marine Corporal Ray Collins. "Discarded in a junk yard like a piece of trash," Ducky says. "You know the word junk originally referred to mortical old rope of certain origin," Ducky tells Palmer. "Really?" Palmer replies. "Eventually it included any discarded item," Ducky continues. Palmer finds it fascinating until Gibbs steps up and says, "I'll tell you what's fascinating, time of death, Duck." Ducky tells Palmer they need to get the body to a more suitable work surface. Tony guesses that the killer dumped the body hoping the trash compactor will eliminate the evidence. McGee points out the man's cash and credit cards are missing so it's probably a mugging. Ducky pulls out the legs to find the feet cut off. "Well, I might agree with you if that were the only thing missing," Gibbs replies.

Back at NCIS, the team reviews the information they have on Corporal Ray Collins on the big screen. Corporal Collins has no family, single and no friends (the latter according to his CO). "His fitness eval was off the charts, but I'm guess that was when he had, feet," Tony says. Collins was serving in Afghanistan until he was court marshaled. "Charges?" Gibbs asks. "Everything," Ziva replies. "Larceny, drug dealing, assault," McGee tells Gibbs. "Might not have ended up doing time but he was definitely looking at a dishonorable discharge," Tony adds. The team is unable to trace Collins movements prior to his murder due to lack of credit card use and no cell phone and no ATM walk-by's either. Tony is pleased by what he found, the purchase of a Ducati motorcycle that Collins added to his Harley collection the month before. "Ray liked motorcycles," Gibbs says. "Motorcycles he shouldn't be able to afford on his pay," McGee adds. Ziva points out that with Collins reputation, there are dozens of people willing to kill him. "Talk to the guys in his Unit, see if you can find one that actually did," Gibbs says.

Abby is on her phone, pacing the lab. The Director's office has called and they want to see Abby right away. She wants the Director to wait five minutes because she had a break through on the case and Gibbs should be walking through her door any minute. Just as she says that, Gibbs walks in. As Vance's secretary is telling Abby the Director wants to see her right now, Abby tells her she has to go and hangs up. "Do you know something I don't know?" Abby asks Gibbs. "Probably not," Gibbs responds. Abby is fretting over why Vance wants to see her. "Do you know about the last time the Director wanted to see me?" Abby asks. "No," Gibbs says and shakes his head. Abby mumbles that seems how he doesn't know, there's no sense in mentioning it again. "Abs, you said you had a breakthrough?" Gibbs asks. After a moment of rambling and refocusing, Abby tells Gibbs that Ducky had found tissue underneath the victim's fingernails. She ran it through the database and didn't find a match on file. "That's not much of a breakthrough," Gibbs says. She tells him it's good because all military DNA is on file. "That means our killer isn't in the military," Gibbs says. Abby mumbles, "That rules out Director Vance." Gibbs gets her to refocus. She tells him that she is aware he was having problems tracking Collins move the night he was murdered but she was able to. She holds up Collins watch - which is a state of the art GPS runner's watch and it holds GPS data for 24 hours. Abby pulls up a blow-by-blow of the Collins move. He went for a run, then to eat, wander around for a bit, and wound up 'spending 2 hours standing on the street.' "Good work, get the address to Tony and Ziva. Good job," Gibbs says as he hands Abby a mini Caf-Pow. "What the bio-hazardous material is this?" Abby asks, holding up the Caf-Pow. "It's all they had," Gibbs shrugs. Abby thinks it's another bad omen and it doesn't bode well for her future. Gibbs walks up to Abby and tells her she shouldn't worry about it. "Why's that?" she asks. "Because I got your back. Always have had it," he replies as he leans and kisses her on the cheek then finishes with, "Always will."

In autopsy, Ducky says, "I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet. An old Persian proverb, a reminder to appreciate what we have because we can always have less." Palmer tries to imitate the cartoon character, Fred Flintstone and says, "Don't touch your balling balls before they hatch Fred." "Fred?" Ducky asks. Palmer fumbles to explain who Fred Flintstone is and is relieved when Gibbs walks in but continues to stumble over his words. Smiling, Ducky points at Palmer and says, "Yabba dabba do." Palmer laughs until he sees Gibbs face and stops. Gibbs wants to know what Ducky has for him. "A mess, and a troubling one," Ducky tells him. Ducky tells Gibbs that Collins was alive when his feet were cut off, but probably unconscious. Collins cause of death was that he bleed to death. The head trauma appears to have been caused from the car crusher with the exception of a blow to the jaw, caused by a wrench or piece of pipe. Someone knocked out Collins, then chopped of his feet. Ducky corrects Gibbs and says "Sawed them off actually for reasons I shall leave you to speculate." "Your right Duck, troubling," Gibbs says. Ducky tells Gibbs he hasn't shown him the troubling part yet. He has Palmer move the victims head and shows Gibbs a welt on the left hand side of Collins head, behind his ear. Ducky has no idea what caused it or how it came to be there.

Abby rushes into Director Vance's outer office. The secretary, Pamela Cook, starts to tell Abby why he wants to see her but Abby cuts her off. Abby's concerned that it's because she used government bandwidth for voice-over-IP phone calls, which were done for charity to help Save The Children because there are over 4 million deaths every year. Pamela says she doesn't think it's about that Abby says, "Then the infrastructure database that she loaned to Habitat for Humanity," Abby asks. Once again, the secretary tells her no so Abby asks that she keep that information between them. "He already knows," Pamela says. Pamela finally tells Abby that Alejandro Rivera, the Mexican justice department official, has requested for Abby to come down and speak at a symposium. "Yes, when do I leave," Abby asks. "I think today, but the Director doesn't want you going alone because Mexico's to dangerous these days, so he's sending an escort, " Pamela replies. "God, I hope it's not McGee. I mean, he's never any fun to travel with anyways but lately he's been acting all squirrely with me, ever since Alejandro tried to undress me with his eyes," Abby says. McGee walks in, "Hi, the Director wanted to see me?" he asks Pamela. She smiles and looks down when Abby looks at her. "Hi," McGee says to Abby.

Ziva and Tony pull up at the address Abby gave them from Collins GPS. Tony and Ziva bicker about whether or not they are in the right location. "According to Abby's coordinates, in the truck," Ziva tells him. "I betcha Abby could last more than ten seconds in random chat," Tony tells her. "You are obsessed," Ziva replies. "You wouldn't understand," he says. She asks why. "Because, being irritating is second nature to you, Me, I'm charming," he replies. She balks at his comment then stops and takes a sniff as they get closer to the truck. "That's not charming," Tony says after he catches a whiff of the air as well. They rush to the truck and open it, looking inside. "That's a bloody table," Tony says. Ziva flashes her light higher and says Tony's name. He looks up and they both see several pairs of feet hanging from the inside of the truck.

Abby and McGee arrive in Benito Juarez, Mexico. Abby rushes out of the car the minute the door is opened and runs up the stairs. McGee calls for her to slow down and she stops to tell him she doesn't want to miss anything. "Like what, the burrito bar?" McGee asks. She asks him if he's going to be a party pooper the entire trip, then tells him to 'come on.' McGee whines about how the last time he was in Mexico, he was sick for an entire month. "It's called bottled water McGee. Maybe this time you won't be so cheap," Abby tells him. McGee shows Abby the photo of the feet that Tony sent him and believes it's a serial killer. McGee begins to chat with Abby when Alejandro spots them and comes up to greet Abby. McGee watches as the duo make small chat. Abby jokes that her arms are pretty tired. "Not too tired, I hope, your going to need them," Alejandro responds. "Uh, for what?" McGee asks. Alejandro tells her has a stack of cold cases and a class with eager students waiting for her to share her forensics with them. Abby realizes she's going to busy and Alejandro hopes that she's not to busy for... "Let's just say busy and leave it at that," McGee chimes in before Alejandro can finish. "Agent McGoo huh?" Alejandro asks him. "McGee," McGee replies. Alejandro informs them that there is only one room available at the Justice Department's headquarters. "Well then we'll check into a hotel," McGee offers. The reason for the symposium was due to the escalating violence from the drug wars, so Alejandro insists that Abby and McGee stay at Justice headquarters. Nearly Abby or McGee look thrilled at the thought.

In the evidence garage, Ducky and Palmer are bagging up the sets of feet hanging from the truck. "No regard for protocol. Human remains are to be processed in the autopsy garage," Ducky tells Palmer. Tony says, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, serial killer." "A limb, nice," Ziva says, not amused at Tony's choice of words. "Can I give you a hand?" Tony asks, "These are terrible jokes," he says as Gibbs exits the elevator. Gibbs comments that if Tony has time to joke around, he's found the killer. Tony says he's working on it and tells Gibbs there is no license plate on the truck and the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) has been scratched off. Ziva says there are over 1,000 similar vehicles registered with the Maryland DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) alone. "Well narrow it down," Tony says after receiving a look from Gibbs. Stepping down from the back of the truck, Ducky tells Gibbs that Collins was unconscious when his feet were cut off, so it's safe to assume the other victims were as well, what's left of them. Pointing to a grungy tub, Gibbs ask "and the rest of them?". Ziva says most likely they used sulfuric acid as it's strong enough to dissolve bones. "Corporal Collins body was dumped, the rest of them weren't, why?" Gibbs asks. I'd have to perform a psychological autopsy to answer that question," Ducky replies. Ducky feels they have the killer's trophies, which means the killer will want to kill again. "Think I got a lead on that. Autopsy Gremlin, scram (to Palmer)," Tony replies. Tony holds up one pair of feet which have tattoos on the ankles and tells them it's a motorcycle tattoo, therefore the killer is targeting bikers.

In the classroom in Mexico, Abby is excited about teaching the class. "Are you going to eat during my entire presentation?" she asks McGee as he's spooning food in his mouth. "I read that local yogurt is amazing for your stomach," McGee replies. Abby informs McGee that the yogurt he is eating is unpasturized. "Is that bad?", he asks. "In Mexico? You might as well just shoot yourself now," she tells him just as the class arrives. Abby greets the class with many Mexican greetings, then introduces herself. As she starts to introduce McGee, he gets up and heads out of the classroom, sick. She explains to the class what McGee ate and that he's probably heading to throw up. She grabs the case of files on her desk and hands them out. When the class gets to view Abby's full outfit, they all stare and some giggle. Abby hands out the file on a 20 year old case for Pedro Hernandez. After she hands out he files, Abby heads back to the desk and asks if they have any questions. One woman raises her hand and says, "Who told you the Day of the Dead was in May?", which causes a lot of giggles in the class. "Your name is, let me guess, Natalia," Abby says. "You can read," Natalie says after she looks at her name tag. "I can read. I can also tell that you have cats," Abby says as she walks closer to Natalia. "Anyone could tell I have a cat," Natalia says as she pulls a cat hair off her sweater. "One is an orange tabby and two calicos. You're allergic to citrus. You went bowling last night. You're vitamin D deficient. Oh, and you're ovulating. Any more questions?" Abby says as she walks back to the desk. Abby refers back to the case and tells them due to the shotty police work there is almost no forensic evidence. "I hope you brought your walking shoes because we are going, in the field," Abby says enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, Ziva and Tony hit the "Country Girl Saloon" and head inside. "This is the last biker bar we are hitting today. I smell like monkey grease," Tony whines. "Somehow I think you won't mind this one," Ziva says as a woman at the bar stares at Tony. "Hello Kitty, Meow," Tony says to the woman as he removes his sunglasses. Tony asks Ziva if she'd like to take it, then decides he should. He calls for everyone's attention, introduces himself and says he'd like to ask them all some questions, as all the bikers and the ladies stop what they are doing and stare at Tony. He holds up Collins photo and tells them he's looking for information on him. As everyone goes back to what they were doing, Tony says, I"ve lost my mojo, it's like random chat only the real world." "Perhaps it needs a womans touch so...." Ziva says but she is cut off by the bartender/owner. "Not unless that woman's got a warrant," Velvet Road says. She asks Ziva if she has a warrant and Ziva says they don't but they would like to ask a few questions. "You know what I would like, you to leave," Velvet tells them while the crowd looks on. Tony tells everyone there is a serial killer on the loose, targeting bikers and wonders if it interests them. "The only that that interest me is you, leaving now," Velvet tells him.

Velvet shows Tony and Ziva the way out, then apologizes for her behavior. "Had to put on a show for the kiddies?" Tony asks. Velvet introduces herself and says she had to if she wanted to stay in business. Velvet tells them she doesn't know who Collins runs with, but she knows who he's been sleeping with. Velvet says Collins slept with everyone and probably slept with the wrong guys girl. Ziva informs Velvet that Collins isn't the only person dead. Velvet isn't surprised because if you look at some guys girl the wrong way, they'll kill you. "You got any names?" Tony asks. Looking back and forth at Ziva and Tony, Velvet replies, "I got a whole bunch."

Back in Mexico, Abby has taken her class on a field trip to the location of the truck where Pedro Hernandez was shot. Amazingly after 20 years, the truck is still sitting in the same location. "There are many ways by which a cold case can be solved. Anyone?" Abby says. Natalia raises her hang but Abby ignores her and turns to McGee who tells them new evidence, new witnesses that come forward, alibis that fall through or new information that comes to light. "This new information usually comes from forensic evidence, which we're going to have to find out on our own because this case has virtually none," Abby tells the class. Abby reads off the information from the file. She says the evidence indicated that Pedro was gunned down at point-blank range in a gang style shooting and Pedro's vehicle was abandoned after the shooting so that's where she wants to start. Abby points out the shatter pattern on the driver's side window of the truck and says the bullet was traveling at a high-velocity and asks McGee the answer. "Some kind of long range weapon," McGee replies. As Abby begins to go on, they hear a truck roaring up the road and Abby wonders if they are expecting more students. "Those don't look like students," Natalia says as several men with loaded weapons vacate the truck. A woman gets out of the passengers side of the truck, walks up and tells them they are trespassing. "Actually we were just leaving," Abby replies. "No, your not," the woman replies.

The woman, Paloma Reynosa, tells the class to line up. The men aim the guns at them, which makes the class line up quicker. "It's probably good to start praying too," Paloma says. "Can we just slow down here for a second," McGee asks. "Sorry, I have lunch plans," Paloma replies. "Would it help you to know that I am a guest of your government," Abby tells them. McGee tells Abby to be quiet and Paloma says that instead of killing her, maybe she'll take her as a hostage instead, see how much they are worth. McGee introduces himself, flashes his badge, then asks her to let everyone else go because he is worth a lot of money. She checks out his badge, then says, "Your a brave man Timothy McGee, do you know who I am?" She gives him her name and he realizes she's part of the Renosa drug cartel. "The family business is what I prefer to call it," Paloma says. Paloma wants to know what NCIS is doing in Mexico. Abby explains why she is there. Paloma wants to know what an old truck can tell her about a cold case. Abby explains about the shotty police work and that Pedro was killed by a long range rifle. Paloma tells Abby she is correct. Pedro was killed by a snipper, up on the ridge, 100 meters from where they are standing. "How do you know that?" Abby asks. "Because the killer left behind a message," Paloma replies. McGee wants to know what message. Paloma lifts the chain from around her neck and pulls out a rifle bullet from within. She tosses it to Abby and tells her that maybe she'll have a better use for it than Paloma did. Abby reassures her that she will see what she can do. Paloma compliments Abby on her boots and then she and her men hop in the truck and leave.

In autopsy, Ducky and Palmer are going over the sets of feet. "Jealousy can sure drive people to do strange things," Palmer says. "As can anything born of deep rooted insecurity," Ducky replies. "If I chopped the feet off of every man who gave Breena two looks, I'd be up to my ear in toe cheese," Palmer says as he walks towards Ducky with a set of feet. Ducky hands Palmer a sample. "What is that?" Palmer asks. "Toe cheese," Ducky replies. "I hope you got something more for me than toe cheese, Duck," Gibbs says as he walks in.
